ADS Chapter 579: USAID Development Data Policy

Data, and the information derived from data, are assets for USAID, its partners, the academic and scientific communities, and the public at large. The value of data used in strategic planning, design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of USAID’s programs is enhanced when those data are made available throughout the Agency and to all other interested stakeholders, in accordance with proper protection and redaction allowable by law.

Evidence to Action Publishes Recommendations on Youth Issues

Integral to the USAID-funded Evidence to Action (E2A) Project’s learning agenda is a focus on meeting the sexual and reproductive health needs of adolescents and young people in resource-poor settings. As a part of our focus on young people, E2A contributed to two papers this year which followed seminal international conferences where the health, sexual rights and development of young people were center stage. The two papers argue for continued investments in and collaboration around young people, both from a rights-based perspective and as a driver of health and development.
